THE new Woodland Trust headquarters in Dysart Road, Grantham, is to receive an award for architectural excellence from the Royal Institute of British Architects.

The building, one of four in the East Midlands to receive an award, impressed judges with its use of timber and its simple use of materiels and colours.

Julian Owen, Chairman of RIBA East Midlands said: “I’d like to congratulate the Woodland Trust for winning such a prestigious national architectural accolade. The building is a great exemplar, highlighting the good design, flair and creativity that architects, working alongside a dedicated client, can bring to important projects such as this.”
