Come and celebrate the very best of local, artisan food and drink and pick up some delicious treats at Belton House this weekend.

Taking place tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday from 9.30am to 5.30am, Belton’s first food and drink fair is set to attract the crowds, with its delicious smells and tastes.

Browse a selection of locally produced food and drink in Belton’s stableyard. Take home a variety of treats including beer, brownies, cakes, wine, bread and tea, and chat to the stallholders to find out more about their produce.

Lincolnshire food and drink is so full of variety with many local people producing their own exceptional flavours. Belton is celebrating these people and their delicious creations with this original event.

Crowds can enjoy live music and performances from the likes of Belton Tai Chi club throughout the day, alongside the mass of stalls.

Belton’s mansion, gardens, outdoor adventure play ground, restaurants and shops will also be open across the weekend.

Visitors to the food fair can also enjoy a visit to the extravagant house, with the main family rooms of the house open Wednesday to Sunday from 12.30pm, with last admission at 4.30pm.

Built for Sir John Brownlow in the 1680s, Belton House has all the design features of a classic English country home. Sitting in formal Italian and Dutch gardens and an historic 1300 acre deer park, Belton is often cited as the quintessential country house estate.

There is no extra charge for entry to this event. Admission charges to Belton will apply as normal to non-National Trust members.
