BRITAIN’S oldest sheep fair will take place this weekend in Corby Glen.
It is the 773rd annual fair, and all kinds of activities are planned.
From clay pigeon shooting, sports and tug of war to dancing displays, fun fair and a dog show, there is something for everyone. There will also be street and craft markets.
Much of the entertainment is free, supported by local organisations and the Sheep Fair Association.
On Monday, the village will host the popular sheep auction in Tanner’s Lane.
Corby Glen has held a sheep fair each year since King Henry III granted a charter in 1238.
