Two gardens will be open on Sunday (June 30) to raise money for charity under the National Gardens Scheme.

Stoke Rochford Hall, a Grade 2 listed Victorian manor house, is surrounded by 28 acres of formal landscaped gardens and parkland. The gardens are in the Victorian style with long harbaceous borders, a rose garden, informal paths and a variety of trees and shrubs including the Gingko Biloba or Maidenhair Tree. The gardens will be open from 10am to 6pm. Entry is £4, children free.

The two-acre garden at The Long House, Gelston, will be open from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. There are extensive views over the Vale of Belvoir. The garden has an abundance of roses, a knot garden, informal arrangement of borders and a newly designed pond to attract wildlife. Entry is £3, children free. Call 01400 250821.
