McCartney — The Songbook comes to the Theatre Royal, Lincoln, with music from The Beatles, Wings and Paul McCartney's solo career
The music of Paul McCartney, spanning six decades, will be performed at the New Theatre Royal, Lincoln, on Sunday (January 16).
McCartney — The Songbook is from the producers of hit shows That’ll Be The Day and Walk Right Back.
Starring Peter John Jackson, of Let It Be, The Sessions At Abbey Road, and That’ll Be The Day, the production explores the music of Sir Paul McCartney.
It covers his time with The Beatles and Wings, all the way through to his prolific solo career.
The show also explores Sir Paul as more than just a musician, detailing his life in Liverpool and on the road.
It features authentic costume and instrumentation alongside a live band to recreate more than 40 hits, including Band On The Run, Yesterday, Live And Let Die, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Hey Jude.
Comedy Night At The Royal returns to the theatre on Thursday, January 20.
Compered by Michael Legge, it will feature Sally-Anne Hayward, and Ian Stone, who has appeared on Mock the Week and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
