Grantham Tennis Club's art gallery to host new exhibition

Visit Blue Owl Art Gallery for the opening night of its next exhibition on Thursday, June 27, between 6pm and 8pm, when a complimentary drink will await you.

Blue Owl is based at Grantham Tennis Club, Gonerby Road, Grantham (NG31 8HU).

The exhibition is by Kith Artist Collective which consists of 15 artists who originally came together through the Fine Art degree programme at the University of Nottingham.

The artists are Zoe Collishaw, Lydia Crump, Uta Feinstein, Pam Fletcher, Nick Gear, Margaret Gettens, Julie Moosburg, Hylma Price, Margie Reichelt, Anne Samuel, Mo Scott, Ju Smith, Marie Williams, Janet Wootton and Mary Wood.

For this exhibition, each artist will exhibit three pieces of work all of which are available to buy.

All members are working artists based in the East Midlands and have been involved in numerous group and solo exhibitions in various locations, both in the UK and internationally.

The group formed in 2016 with a view to creating and exhibiting together as a collective.

The artists work in a variety of media and styles, and have diverse interests and influences.

However, their motivation is to produce work that challenges the viewer to think about what they are seeing and generate debate about the content of their work.

Belinda and Jette look forward to seeing you on the night. They have just celebrated their fifth anniversary as a gallery and have a regular following of art lovers around the East Midlands. Pop along and celebrate with them.

If you are looking for original art and prints, this is the place in Grantham to go. There are three print racks to browse as well as greeting cards and gifts. Free parking and on-site cafe.

The exhibition will open daily until September 27.
