A concert celebrating the jazz of Dudley Moore will take place this weekend.

The Chris Ingram Quartet will perform “Dudley - The Jazz of Dudley Moore” at Ropsley Village Hall on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at 7.30pm.

Dudley Moore's fame as a comic actor and Hollywood movie star, and his complex and highly conflicted life story, overshadowed his gift as a witty and imaginative jazzman and composer.

The Chris Ingham Quartet revisits Dud's music from the 1960s when he was a TV star. They bring a scintillating live performance using Moore's pieces that express the bright, optimistic, swinging 60s to others which are deeply poignant, personal expressions of a darker, more complex world.
