Harpsichord player Douglas Hollick is the featured musician in the final concert of a summer season at Harlaxton Manor tonight (Friday).
The performance of music from the 17th and 18th centuries will alo include readings by TV actor Michael Culkin, who plays Judge Butler in Garrow’s Law.
The event marks the final concert of the 20th season of concerts at Harlaxton Manor for the British Red Cross,
Douglas, who lives near Grantham, has masterminded the series since it began.
With an international reputation as an organist and harpsichordist, he has studied with Peter Hurford in St Albans, Marie-Claire Alain in Paris and Gustav Leonhardt in Amsterdam.
He has played widely both here and abroad, and teaches in Cambridge, as well as at Birmingham Conservatoire.
Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7.30pm.Tickets are £10 (£7 concessions) or for this final show, £16 with post-show reception (£13).
