Over the past fifteen years, Ursula Cholmeley has been restoring Easton Walled Gardens to the nationally important garden it once was.

This year the gardens open on March 2, so visitors can enjoy the carpets of spring flowers and wide open lawns, in time for Mother’s Day and Easter.

On Mother’s Day, the first 100 mums through the door will get a free copy of The English Garden magazine, so after mum has enjoyed a sunny stroll around the gardens, she can read magazine in the tea rooms.

The gardens are open for Mother’s Day on Sunday, March 6, from 11am to 4pm. Entry is £3 for children and £7 for adults.

Over Easter, children can follow the Easter Trail around the garden, and then claim their Easter Egg Prize (extra £1.50 for Easter Egg). The Wren Trail, the swing, yew tunnel, den and turf maze are there to be explored, or just let little legs scamper across the large lawns. Adults can enjoy the beautiful gardens, their history and refreshments in the tea rooms.

The gardens are open from 11am to 4pm on March 24, 25, 27 and 28. Entry is £3 for children and £7 for adults.
