Folk artists Jackie Oates and John Spiers set to perform at Guildhall Arts Centre, Grantham

Multi-award winning folk artists are set to tour with their debut album.

Following their summer appearances, Jackie Oates and John Spiers will be performing at Grantham as part of their national tour.

The Oxfordshire duo will be performing music from their debut album, Needle Pin, Needle Pin, at the Guildhall Arts Centre on Friday November 26.

Audiences will experience a fresh and uplifting evening with music from the pair's first album, which was released in early 2020.

Followers of British folk music may already be familiar with Jackie and John from other bands, with their collaboration initially beginning when they played together for fun in Henley-on-Thames.

Jackie has released several solo albums over the last 17 years, and is now focussing on collaboration's with a diverse array of artists.

John Spiers is one of the leading melodeon players of his generation, better known in folk circles as 'Squeezy' and role in Bellowhead, one of the most successful Folk bands in recent history.

During the tour the pair will also be selling their albums, with each CD coming with a limited edition are entirely handmade album.

Tickets for the event cost £15 or £13 for concessions, and can be bought from the Guildhall box office.
