A choir from Cambridge will perform at a Grantham church.
The Gents of St John’s are set to sing at St Wulfram’s Church on September 7 from 7.30pm.
The choir is formed of the choral and organ scholars of the world-renowned choir of St John’s College, Cambridge.
The Gents of St John’s have enjoyed a busy schedule of concerts and recordings for over forty years.
They are noted for their versatility and range of repertoire, performing music spanning over 600 years, from the polyphony of the early renaissance all the way through to close-harmony arrangements of modern-day hits.
Melanie Brown, operations and development manager at St Wulfram’s and Grantham House, said: “We are delighted to be hosting this amazingly accomplished group of singers to St Wulfram’s church.”
