Harrowby Singers promise an evening of uplifting musical numbers

After the success of Little Shop of Horrors in March this year and Sister Act in 2018, Harrowby Singers are proud to be performing again with 'This is Me' – an immersive theatre experience designed to reflect the embracing of individuality and demonstrate empowerment.

This will be an evening of uplifting musical numbers that tell a story of overcoming adversity through song.

There are just two performances, on Friday and Saturday, September 20 and 21, from 7.30pm at the Masonic Hall, Chambers Street, Grantham (NG31 8BL).

There will be something for everyone with songs from new musicals such as The Greatest Showman and Matilda, Disney favourites from Mulan, Moana and Tangled, not forgetting a selection of songs from the classics, such as South Pacific, Cabaret and Sweet Charity.

From playing leading lady in Little Shop of Horrors, Bryony Rose Parker has turned her hand to directing for This is Me.

Bryony said: "Putting this performance together has been great fun and I hope the audience are on a high by the end of the performance. Empowering one another is important, and with increased mental health awareness, I wanted to combine songs from musicals that fit this theme to bring this message."
