Grantham Choral Society, along with Louth Choral Society, will perform Haydn’s The Creation on Saturday (April 25) at 7.30pm in St Wulfram’s church.

It tells the story of the creation of the world using words from the Books of Genesis and Psalms and from John Milton’s Paradise Lost.

Parts One and Two of the oratorio relate the six days it took God to create the world and the creatures in it, whilst part three deals with the first few hours of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

Tickets are available from the Guildhall Box Office, Simmonds Music, Clarks Shoes and members of the Society at £12 each (£8 students) or on the door.
