Tickets are selling fast for Grantham Dramatic Society's production of 'Blackadder the Third' at the Guildhall Arts Centre, from November 21 to 24.

He's back! Devious Edmund Blackadder returns to the stage for another instalment.

As one of Grantham's favourite comedies, GDS could not resist bringing to the stage the glorious third Blackadder series in all its Regency spendour.

Our hero has sunk from being nobility to serving the nobility, finding himself butler to pampered idiot George, the Prince Regent.

Incompetently supported by ever-cunning dogsbody Baldrick, and other useless friends, will Blackadder find fame, fortune, or failure?

GDS brings three episodes of the comedy series, written by Richard Curtis and Ben Elton, to the stage, featuring 'Sense and Senility', 'Nob and Nobility' and 'Duel and Duality'.

Tickets are priced at £9/£7 for the opening Wednesday night and £10/£8 for Thursday till Saturday.
