Newark Palace Theatre welcomes Chicago Blues Brothers and Bee Gees tribute You Win Again
Dig out those trilbys and shades and polish your dancing shoes because the Chicago Blues Brothers are coming to town with a new show.
With their nine-piece band they plan an all-singing, all-dancing party celebrating some of the greatest movie anthems of all time.
They will be at Newark's Palace Theatre on Friday, April 29.
It will feature hits from both Blues Brothers films, alongside famous tracks from Footloose, Back To The Future, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, with a few surprises thrown in.
Staying true to the legacy and style of Jake and Elwood, it is performed in the crazy, upbeat and hard hitting style that has made The Chicago Blues Brothers such a success.
Before that, on Saturday, April 23, is Bee Gees tribute You Win Again.
Direct from London’s West End, the show is now in its ninth year as it aims to ensure the Gibb brothers’ incredible legacy of classic hit songs is well and truly stayin’ alive.
It is back with a new show for 2022, complete with a light and video show to bring to life their music from the Sixties, Seventies, and Eighties.
The show features many of the trio’s best-known songs, including Night Fever, Stayin’ Alive, More Than A Woman, plus hits they wrote for other artists, such as Celine Dion, Diana Ross, and Dolly Parton.
