Laughter-packed night in Grantham for comedy lovers

The award-winning Funhouse Comedy Club returns to the Guildhall Arts Centre Ballroom in Grantham later this month for what is bound to be a laughter-packed night.

Headlining the May 26 show is Christian Reilly (inset). He became an integral part of the Perrier award- winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall and travelled the world three times.

Now as a solo performer he both fascinates and amuses his audiences with his comic songs and witty punch-lines.

Support comes from Irish comedian and actor Paddy Lennox (main pic), a naturally funny man who oozes charm.

With his laugh-a-minute gags his gentle Irish lilt belies a mischievous sense of humour, leaving audiences wishing for more.

Also appearing will be the deadpan Peter Brush, who was a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award 2013.

Sometimes referred to as a geek, his mind seems to find the oddities in ‘normality’! His imaginative use of words and strange lines of thought, results in unique and sharp material.

Completing the line-up is the quietly confident Phil Pagett, winner of West Midlands Comedy Forum Best Newcomer 2010 and Funhouse Comedy “Should I Stay Or Should I Go” Champion of Champions 2010.

With his unusual routine, smartly crafted and vastly diverse one-liners he takes his audiences on an amusingly clever ride.

Compere for the night is the lively and humorous Spiky Mike.

Tickets are £10 in advance and are available from the box office on 01476 406158. Doors open 7.30pm, ready for an 8.15pm start.
