Feed me! Harrowby Singers to perform cult classic musical Little Shop of Horrors
After their sell-out performance of Sister Act last year at St Wulfram’s Church, Harrowby Singers are excited to invite audiences back for their 46th musical extravaganza – the cult classic Little Shop of Horrors – at the Guildhall Arts Centre.
Steve Sale and Bryony Rose Parker pick up the starring roles of Seymour and Audrey. And the infamous yet amazing Audrey 2 (the plant) is voiced by Len Batey.
Amidst the broken dreams of the Skid Row misfits lies Mushnik’s Flower Shop. Inside, downtrodden assistant Seymour never does anything right in the eyes of his employer and goes unnoticed by his heart's desire, Audrey . . . until he discovers a strange plant which he aptly names Audrey 2.
As the plant grows and thrives, so does Seymour, becoming an overnight sensation.
But what is the secret to the plant's success and what are the consequences for Seymour and the others on Skid Row?
The show is on every evening between March 13 and 16, together with a Saturday matinee.
