Bands will perform a concert at a Grantham pub in aid of a local charity this weekend.

The gig will held at The Royal Queen in Belton Lane on Saturday (October 10). The money is being raised for the Grantham and Sleaford Multiple Sclerosis Society, so it will benefit local sufferers of the condition.

The music starts at 7.30pm with solo artist Glen Richmond. He is followed by young acoustic duo White Noise and then Me Next And The Gimme Gimmes (The Second Best Cover Ban In The World). The night finishes with rock band Dynamite Billy.

Organiser Adam Mason said: “Although the event is free entry, people are encouraged to bring some extra cash to donate to this very worthy cause.”

He has asked people to like, share and comment on the event Facebook page. The link to the Facebook event page is www.facebook.com
