BELL-RINGERS at St Wulfram’s used their hobby to raise almost £800 for Children in Need.

The ringers, led by David Braunton, rang in a piece called a Quarter Peel of Pudsey which took around 50 minutes to complete.

All of the ringers would like to thank everyone who donated money.

Now the bell ringers are encouraging people to have a go themselves.

This Saturday (Dec 3) St Wulfram’s tower will be open and people will be able to see the bells being rung.

There may also be an opportunity for interested people to try it out for themselves. Anyone interested in becoming a bell-ringer should call Nev on 01476 573435.
