Grantham Fake Festival returns to Wyndham Park tomorrow with tributes to Kasabian, U2 and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
As the UK’s only touring tribute festival, it brings a full day of live music, including five local support bands - including District Motion.
After a successful sold out tour last year, with the added double whammy of a hugely popular three day festival to come in September, Fake Festivals is back in Grantham with a rocking line-up of local support bands and headlining tribute bands.
Tributes to Kasabian, U2 and The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be smashing up the main stage, bringing the festival spirit with their uncanny likeness and voices.
“I’m really pleased to be bringing back Grantham to the Fake Festivals tour,” says Luke Small, licence holder for Grantham Fake Festival along with Alan Pitfield.
“After investigation and using local knowledge along with various visits around the county, I saw that Grantham didn’t have much in the way of live music events on a large scale, that would give people the opportunity of attending a full day festival that showcases and celebrates some of the best talented local bands around mixed with fantastic seasoned tribute bands, safely backed by a brand that has continued to grow over the years and has a fantastic reputation amongst the crowd and tribute bands alike.”
Tickets are now priced at adults £21 or £25 on the door, young person (10-17 years) £11 or £15 on the door, family ticket (2 adults, 2 young persons) £53, with children 0-9 years free. Online tickets only available until midnight July 31.
There is an added bonus of free entry and camping to the three day Big Fake Festival upon purchasing your Grantham Fake Festival tickets.
