Oktoberfest makes its way to Skegness pier
A lively party will be arriving at Skegness Pier this month, promising live entertainment as well as food and drink all themed around the iconic Oktoberfest festival.
The party will make its debut at the pier’s new bar, Playa at the Pier, from Monday, October 18, to Sunday, October 24, transporting its guests to Munich, whilst overlooking the Skegness seaview.
Visitors will be able to enjoy live music throughout the week from local artists. A variety of traditional beers and cuisine will also be on offer whilst experiencing the warm, friendly, and fun atmosphere the iconic festival has to offer every day from 12pm till late.
From bratwurst to brezen, guests will have a choice of classic German dishes. Skegness Pier is set to introduce an exclusive Oktoberfest menu which has been created for the new event.
Paige Harris, head of marketing at Skegness Pier, said: “We are delighted to be bringing Oktoberfest to our seaside town this year for the first time ever. The celebration of Bavarian culture will bring people together for the ultimate celebrations and we can’t wait to see everyone having fun in classic German outfits.”
Whilst parents enjoy everything Oktoberfest, the youngsters can take on the brand-new Clip n’ Climb, laser quest, 10-pin bowling, escape rooms and much more.
