Some tickets still remain for Pasadena Roof Orchestra at Guildhall
There is still just time to snap up any remaining tickets for a live performance by the legendary Pasadena Roof Ochestra this Friday night (October 18).
The Pasadena Roof Orchestra was formed 50 years ago and is still going strong.
The show includes famous tunes such as Puttin on the Ritz, Sweet Georgia Brown, and The Lullaby of Broadway, as well as hot numbers from the 1920s such as Duke Ellington’s Black and Tan Fantasy.
Laced with a liberal dose of British humour in its presentation, it promises to be an evening of pure joy for those who love swing, 20s and 30s music.
The show commences at 7.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £20/£17.50 concessions.
The Guildhall Arts Centre is hosting live music of a different kind next Friday (October 25) with the appearance of Music Masters at 7.30pm.
Music Masters is a six-piece vocal/instrumental group from Sheffield with a wealth of experience behind them, performing the length and breadth of the UK over many years.
They have put together a show featuring some of the best songs and instrumentals from the 1950s and 1960s, a time when popular music swept the whole world, and changed a generation of music lovers forever.
Remaining tickets are priced at £17.
Tickets for both concerts are available from the Guildhall box office, call 01476 406158 or visit www.guildhallartscentre.com
