Simply Red, Paul Weller and Rag N Bone Man lead three nights of music at Lincolnshire Showground

There's three nights of live music coming up at Lincolnshire Showground this weekend with Simply Red, Paul Weller and Rag n Bone Man.

It launches tomorrow with Simply Red, who will be performing tracks from their enormous back catalogue.

The band was formed in 1985 by frontman Mick Hucknall and has gone on to sell more than 60m albums.

Their first album, Picture Book was nominated for a Brit Award ­— the first of 13 nominations and three wins.

They have enjoyed hits with Money’s Too Tight To Mention, Holding Back The Years, If You Don’t Know Mr By Now, Stars and Fairground.

Supporting Simply Red is Lisa Stansfield, who had a number one international smash hit with All Around The World.

On Saturday night, Paul Weller takes to the stage.

Fans can enjoy live performances of new material and classics from his back catalogue, such as Wild Wood, Wake Up The Nation and You Do Something To Me.

Paul’s 17th solo album, An Orchestrated Songbook, was released last year, reimagining a selection of his vast catalogue. This follows 2021’s Fat Pop and fans likely to hear tracks from this album live for the first time this summer.

Supporting him is Richard Hawley, who started out as a member of Britpop band The Longpigs before becoming Pulp’s guitarist and then a successful solo career.

With eight studio albums to his name, two Mercury Music Prize nominations and a BRIT Award nomination for Best British Male, Richard Hawley is widely recognised as one of the UK’s foremost songwriters.

His list of collaborators includes Arctic Monkeys, Manic Street Preachers, Elbow and Paul Weller.

Rag n Bone Man completes the line-up on Sunday night.

Rory Graham, aka Rag‘n’Bone Man, is an English singer-songwriter known for his baritone voice.

He won the 2017 BRIT’s British Breakthrough Act and received the BRIT’s Critics’ Choice Award in the same year.

Rag‘n’Bone Man cemented his success with the record-breaking release of his platinum-selling album Human.

His back catalogue includes Human, Giant, and All You Ever Wanted.

He will be supported by Jade Bird and Charlotte Jane.
