Magic Of Motown heading to Nottingham Motorpoint Arena

More news, no ads

Music lovers are in for a treat over the coming days at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena.

Tomorrow, the Magic Of Motown show will be returning to the city with a live performance featuring 40 popular hits from a host of big-name acts.

Fans are invited to celebrate the sound of a generation as the timeless music of Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Supremes, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves, Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson and more, are recreated by a talented cast and band.

Musical duo Michael Ball and Alfie Boe will also be back at the venue on Saturday with an evening of festive tunes.

Their tour follows the release of their latest album, Together At Christmas, which was released last year, although the tour was delayed.

Speaking of the album, Michael said: “Me and Alfie, together at Christmas, I can’t think of anything better.

“In these strange times, we wanted to create an album of songs that we like to listen to at Christmas, plus a few surprises along the way, including an original song.”

On the following Monday, L.O.L. Surprise! Dolls will be taking over the arena for an unforgettable party.

Produced by Carter Entertainment, this widely anticipated and innovative production is inviting fans to stand out from the crowd and get runway ready with their favourite dolls.

The performance is also set to be the first ever family show in the UK to use holograms.
