Grantham gallery's art exhibition has just three weeks remaining
You still have time to view Blue Owl Art Gallery’s current exhibition which runs until September 27.
Blue Owl is based at Grantham Tennis Club and Gym, Gonerby Road, Grantham (NG31 8HU).
The exhibition is by the Kith Artist Collective which consists of 15 artists who originally came together through the Fine Art degree programme at the University of Nottingham.
The artists are Zoe Collishaw, Lydia Crump, Uta Feinstein, Pam Fletcher, Nick Gear, Margaret Gettens, Julie Moosburg, Hylma Price, Margie Reichelt, Anne Samuel, Mo Scott, Ju Smith, Marie Williams, Janet Wootton and Mary Wood.
For this exhibition, each artist is exhibiting three pieces of work, all of which are available to buy.
All members are working artists based in the East Midlands and have been involved in numerous group and solo exhibitions in various locations, both in the UK and internationally.
The group formed in 2016 with a view to creating and exhibiting together as a collective.
The artists work in a variety of media and styles, and have diverse interests and influences.
However, their motivation is to produce work that challenges the viewer to think about what they are seeing and generate debate about the content of their work.
Some of the artists have reduced the prices of their work by 10 per cent.
Belinda and Jette have just celebrated their fifth anniversary as a gallery and have a regular following of art lovers around the East Midlands. Pop along and celebrate with them.
If you are looking for original art and prints, this is the place in Grantham to go. There are three print racks to browse as well as greeting cards and gifts. Free parking and on-site cafe.
