A group of students are staging a free performance called ‘The Lady is not for Turning’ on Friday (May 17).
It is an “unbiased verbatim performance” expressing different reactions to the death of Baroness Thatcher. It will start at 1.30pm.
The students, based at Melton Brooksby College, are doing the performance as part of their final project.
Jade Mitchell-Smith, a third year student studying for a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts at the college, said: “As it is a community-based performance we would like to give the members of the community a chance to see the piece if it is something that interests them.”
