Video: Crowd gathers to mark re-opening of Grantham Museum
Exhibitions and artwork were finally revealed on Saturday at the official re-opening of Grantham Museum.
The museum, in St Peter’s Hill, was reopened after months of renovation work which has seen the inside opened up, original parquet flooring restored and interactive exhibits installed.
Mayor of Grantham Ian Selby was asked to do the honours and cut the ribbon, following a speech by Helen Goral, who is chairman of the Grantham Community Heritage Association which runs the facility. She thanked the hard work of all involved and commented on her pride in the new-look facility.
