WHAT’S ON: Rockabilly band Relentless return to Allington

Relentless return to Allington on Saturday with a night of live rockabilly at the village hall.

The band headlined Friday night at On The Green last July, the village’s three-day music, beer and car festival. When they took to the stage the audience were all seated. By the time they finished they were standing on tables.

The band is a real crowd pleaser, generating a fantastic atmosphere and performing at a frenetic pace.

They produce a raw, authentic sound that faithfully reproduces music from the 1950s. However, they don’t languish in the past and have a remarkable ability to interpret modern classics like you have never heard before. Jiving is not compulsory but might be difficult to resist.

Tickets are £10 each and are on sale at Allington Village Stores and The Welby Arms. You can also buy online at allingtononline.co.uk Online ticket prices include a £1 administration fee.

Doors open at 7pm with live music from 8.30pm (bar and disco throughout). Enquiries: admin@allingtononline.co.uk or call 07896155341

If any tickets remain unsold, they will be available at the door. All proceeds to Allington playing field.
