The building of a six-screen multiplex cinema complex in Grantham is due to begin next month.

Plans for the £5 million complex were approved in November last year. The cinema, operated by Reel, will have six screens and 1,037 seats – an increase of around 700.

The complex will also feature a food court and office space.

Meanwhile, the car park in St Catherine’s Road will close for three days – between 8am on Tuesday, March 10, and 8am on Friday, March 13 – while site preparation works take place.

Motorists should use Welham Street or Wharf Road car parks during this time, said South Kesteven District Council.
